The drawing contest “HTP through the eyes of children” for schoolchildren of Vitebsk and Vitebsk region was launched on March 24, 2010.

Administration of Hi-Tech Park emerges as organizer and sponsor of the contest. The aim of the contest is to develop children’s creativity and form the idea of Hi-Tech Park among schoolchildren.

Alexander Martinkevich, Deputy Director of Hi-Tech Park:

“Vitebsk region was chosen as venue of the contest for a good reason. The schoolchildren of the region traditionally show good results during republican and international academic competitions. The region retains top position in the country by the number of competition winners. A multilevel system of cultural and artistic contests and festivals helps discover and encourage talented and gifted children in the region. Besides, schools of Vitebsk region always enthusiastically take part in the events organized by Hi-Tech Park.”

Summing up of results and awarding of the winners will take place on April 22, 2010 in Novopolotsk during “The Hi-Tech Park Day”. The winners will be awarded with diplomas and prizes from HTP resident-companies and their works will become part of the permanent drawing exhibition “HTP through the eyes of children” in the building of HTP in Minsk.
