Primary IT Education in Hi-Tech Park

28 January 2016

"Children at once accept joy and happiness with quick familiarity," noted Victor Hugo. If only the writer could see how quickly children accept new technologies and complicated programming tasks today!

On January 23, the Educational Center of the Hi-Tech Park conducted a series of free classes for children. Over 100 kids with parents and grandparents visited the HTP business incubator.

Children aged 7-10 got acquainted with Scratch, while children aged 11-14 tried to program robots.

Even those who first looked at monitors suspiciously got absorbed in writing code to create their own computer game. Other children learned how to make robots move, give sound and light signals and even dance.

Parents could learn about educational programs of the HTP Educational Center and then go and watch their children's achievements.
