Delegation of Afreximbank Visits HTP

On June 21, a delegation of The African Export Import Bank (Afreximbank) visited the Hi-Tech Park.

The aim of the visit was to explore the experience of establishing and developing the Hi-Tech Park in Belarus, learn about software products for banking, and strengthen bilateral cooperation.

The delegation met with Head of Belarus HTP and examined activities and potential of the Park in promoting the startup movement, while walking around the HTP business incubator. The parties shared ideas on the existing and future high technologies as well as tools to be used for developing the knowledge economy.

The HTP resident-company SoftClub – Software Development Center demonstrated its IT solutions for the banking and finance sectors.

President of Afreximbank Benedict Okey Oramah became interested in software solutions of HTP companies. The parties agreed to continue developing bilateral cooperation in the field of information technology.
