Indonesia Learnes Experience of HTP

The delegation of the Chamber of Trade and Commerce of Special Region of Yogyakarta headed by Her Royal Highness Princess Pembayun visited the Hi-Tech Park on August 24.

The visit was aimed at learning the experience of establishing and developing the Hi-Tech Park in Belarus, and exploring the process of training specialists in the field of information technology.

During the meeting with HTP director Valery Tsepkalo, Princess Pembayun disclosed that Indonesia has a great task to establish and develop a Silicon Valley counterpart. In this regard, the guests examined the HTP activities organization process; a number of issues urgent for Indonesia were discussed.

IT education was also discussed. Princess Pembayun devotes considerable attention to education in Indonesia, so Valery Tsepkalo described the details of HTP cooperation with universities and training of high-skilled IT specialists by HTP resident-companies.

The delegation walked around the HTP business incubator to learn its activities and achievements in promoting innovative entrepreneurship.

The parties agreed to continue developing bilateral cooperation in the field of information technology.
