IBA Group Won Global Sourcing Association Award

The Global Sourcing Association (GSA), formerly known as the European Outsourcing Association (EOA), announced the winners of the 2016 EOA Awards. IBA Group was selected the winner of the Award for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

IBA Group was praised for their project Promotion of IT in Belarus among People with Disabilities, the first IT education project for disabled people in Belarus. Within the project, 120 disabled people received training in system administration basics. After that, IBA Group organized a national contest in system administration for people with disabilities, with 45 course graduates participating in the contest and 10 of them qualifying for the final. Now former students transfer their competencies to others, and six graduates were offered jobs in IT companies.

Sergei Levteev, IBA Group Chairman, underscored the commitment of IBA Group to social responsibility: "We strive to promote IT education in the countries of operation, providing equal opportunities to people of different age, gender, background, and physical health. I would like to thank the GSA for recognition of our efforts. The EOA Award adds visibility to our CSR initiatives, and IBA Group will continue to support the development of IT education in Belarus."
