On March 31, about 1,461 participants of the final stage of the republican olympiad on academic subjects attended the award ceremonies in nine cities of Belarus.
School students good at informatics and physics were awarded in Grodno. 55 out of 123 young computer scientists were named the winners; 56 winners out of 118 participants received diplomas and prizes of the olympiad in physics.
The day before the award ceremony, the students visited the HTP Department in Grodno Region to discover the Hi-Tech Park, its activities and achievements, and learn about careers in the IT industry, advantages and challenges.
76 gifted mathematicians were praised in Lida. 163 students participated in the olympiad in mathematics.
