The opening ceremony of 1:1 e-learning environment pilot implementation took place in Novopolotsk State Gymnasium on September 1, 2011.

The representatives of the Hi-Tech Park Administration, HTP resident-companies EPAM Systems and System Technologies as well as the representatives of Intel Corporation took part in the ceremony.

Alexander Martinkevich, Deputy Director of HTP Administration, held a meeting with the parents of the pupils engaged in the project.

According to the survey, which was run during the meeting, all parents support the pilot project and would like it to continue next year. Here is what the parents say:

Larisa:

”I absolutely agree with this teaching method at school. It will encourage the interest and more responsible attitude towards studying. We feel that companies which sponsor and promote the project, care about our children and our future. “

Victor:

”I think it is necessary to teach children from the early age to use modern (innovative) equipment around us, without which there is no future either in science or in everyday life.“

Larisa:

”Considering that a child lives in the Hi-Tech era, it is necessary to keep up with the time and use all means available. That is why the participation of my child in this project will make for his development and opportunities to fulfill himself in the future. “
