IT projects of 13 finalists, selected from 114 candidates, were presented on November 16, 2011 in Hi-Tech Park during the final of the First Republican youth IT-Competition IT-JUMP 2011.





The finalists of three categories ”Best It Idea“, ”Best IT Project“ and ”Best Game “ were fighting for the victory. The final was held in the form of investment fair and attracted representatives of IT business, venture and investment funds and associations.



Valery Tsepkalo, Director of HTP administration, says:
”To perform in front of venture investors is a good opportunity for young people. If they manage to catch the interest of the representatives of large IT companies they will be able to attract financing for their projects“.

Benjamin Wattinne, Account manager of AngelSoft, France, agrees with Valery Tsepkalo:
”I knew that there are talented developers in Belarus. I liked two IT project. I am thinking to offer cooperation to the developers. It will be very interesting“.

The winners will be announced today on November 17, 2011 at the Award ceremony which will be held in the Hotel Europe.

The organizers of Belarus largest contest of IT projects and ideas IT-JUMP 2011 are the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, HTP administration and ”Business angels and venture investors network“ BAVIN“.
