First national coaches for the Intel International Program for educators’ professional growth “Teach for Future” has successfully undergone training and received international certificates.

Certificates were given to students who attended the courses “Project activities in information educational environment of XXI Century” and “ICT: a strategy of educational establishment development” held at Polotsk college named by Masherov and supported by Hi-Tech Park.

Sharing their impressions on the courses, newly-qualified coaches agreed that “in comparison with traditional techniques used by Belarusian educational establishments this program is a great step forward”. The program “Education for Future” can become an excellent way of achieving the goals of modern education, encouraging professional and personal growth of teachers in the meanwhile. They said, “there is no academic program in Belarus targeted at doing research at class”. As a rule, Belarusian pupils work on their own projects after school.

In the nearest future these courses are planned to appear on the curriculum of students who major in pedagogy, as well as on the curriculum of educators who study to upgrade their skills at regional education development institutions.
