More than 70 Applications Received for Belarus Science and Engineering Fair

Registration for the youth competition Belarus Science and Engineering Fair held in January-March 2013 is closed; more than 70 applications have been received.

There are 28 applications in the category Computer Science, 18 - in Physics and Astronomy, 13 - in Mathematics, 5 - in Engineering: Electrical and Mechanical and 7 - in Engineering: Materials and Bioengineering.

The most active participants were pupils from Minsk and Vitebsk regions (55 applications altogether).

Now the judges, professors of the best Belarusian universities highly experienced in providing assistance in carrying out research, will choose projects to participate in the next stage of the competition. The list of the chosen projects will be posted on the website of Minsk Region Institute for Education Development on February 4. The best projects will represent Belarus at the international competition in Phoenix, USA, in May.
