EPAM Systems Opens Innovative Developments Studio in Y. Kupala GrSU

The Innovative Developments Studio was opened on March 4 in Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science in collaboration with EPAM Systems IOOO, the resident company of the Hi-Tech Park.

Work with talented young people is an integral part of learning process in Yanka Kupala GrSU. Opening of the Innovative Developments Studio will let to enhance this work and create new conditions for realization of students’ projects.

By opening the Innovative Developments Studio together with Yanka Kupala GrSU, EPAM Systems seeks to support scientific research profile of field-oriented departments using modern approaches and solutions.

“Our company has been actively working with students for many years. In 2007 we opened a joint educational scientific computer lab on the basis of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno. Two years ago divisions of Grodno University departments were opened in EPAM Systems to be the first in Belarus. These are the Department of Computer Systems Software Support and the Department of System Programming and Computer Security. Now we decided to complement the learning process with scientific and research practice”, – said Constantine Golunkov, the head of the Grodno branch of EPAM Systems.
