Hi-Tech Park at the Belarus Investment Forum in Dubai

Hi-Tech Park delegation headed by Deputy Director Kirill Zalessky visited the World Exhibition EXPO 2020 in Dubai (UAE) to take part in the Belarus Investment Forum (BIF).

The Forum became the key event of the National Day of Belarus and gathered about 100 participants from the UAE, Turkey, Egypt, Qatar, Pakistan and other countries.

The main task of the BIF was to enhance cooperation between Belarusian and foreign companies from the Gulf countries in various fields, including high technologies.

The program of the Forum included a round table with the representatives of international investment funds. Belarusian delegation presented Hi-Tech Park investment incentives, as well as complex solutions for business development in Belarus and the Gulf region.

“Banking and financial digital technologies have always been a strong point of the Belarusian IT sector. Dubai is the global financial center. Thus fintech is the area for our mutually beneficial partnership. We held a number of negotiations aimed at developing fintech sector in Belarus and creating new Belarusian products and services for global markets,” said Kirill Zalessky.

Hi-Tech Park team also visited FinTech Hive accelerator at the Dubai International Financial Center and discussed the possibility of joint projects.
