HTP Resident-Companies Exchanged their Experience with University Teachers on Internet Marketing

Within the framework of the India-Belarus Digital Learning Centre in ICT the HTP held a conference "Practices of Internet Marketing" on September 26-27, 2013.

The conference was held by specialists of Artox Lab. Artox Lab is a development center for digital marketing tools which specializes in creating software products for PPC, SMM and SEO management. Specialists of the company Anton Shaban, Vadim Heifets, Julia Donesevich and Dmitry Lepeshko shared secrets of using modern internet marketing tools to increase website traffic, promote brands and attract clients. Particular attention was paid to peculiarities of Search Engine Optimization, Contextual Advertising, Social Media Marketing, etc.

The participants discussed features, trends and cases of internet marketing in Belarus and Russia, as well as abroad. University teachers noted that the conference allowed them to get a deeper understanding of internet marketing mechanisms and receive answers to many pressing questions. They will use the obtained knowledge in teaching students and optimization of the higher education institutions websites.

They provide a reduction of the gap between university curricula and rapidly evolving practice of real IT work", noted Galina Lades, a senior lecturer at the Chair of Environmental Informational Systems of the International Sakharov Environmental University, at the end of the conference.
