HTP resident-companies presented their software products and capabilities on October 15. The meeting in the Hi-Tech Park was attended by First Deputy Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Pinevich and representatives of more than 20 state healthcare and medical organizations.

Mapsoft presented its e-medicine projects. The company implemented medical information systems for various health facilities, such as Polyclinic, Hospital, Dentistry, Perinatal Center, etc. Belarus Online Medical Registration (www.talon.by) is its successful product. There are 78 health facilities and 28 interactive kiosks in the system, with over 1,5 million appointments having been made. About 15% of appointments are arranged through interactive kiosks today.

PrognozBel presented its solution developed for the Ministry of Health. The Ministry of Health Information and Analytical System enables automated collection of information from subordinate organizations; it also helps to monitor and analyze the healthcare sector using BI platform tools. The company has worked in the IT market for over 20 years and participated in international projects for the World Health Organization, the United States Department of Health and Human Services, the Ministry of Health UAE, the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation, the Russian Health Care Foundation, various ministries and agencies in Belarus.

VirusBlokAda is a leading antivirus software developer and though it does not specialize in healthcare products, its presentation was of great interest to the guests. The company’s Vba32 products are the only antivirus software developed in Belarus.

SoftGarantService offered its management system for health facilities. The idea of the product is to focus on the patient, paid medical services, flexibility, easy setup and management. It is based on recording all interactions with patients and daily operations of the staff. The company’s motto is "We have worked hard so that you could work less."

The implementation of information and communication technology and software in government agencies is one of the HTP activities. In addition, the Hi-Tech Park is the largest provider of computer services in Belarus. Many Belarusian and foreign healthcare organizations are among its customers. However, the domestic market share for the first half of 2014 was only about 10% of the HTP total production because of its relatively small size.

The Hi-Tech Park intends to continue the promotion of its products to the domestic market. To this end, the HTP regularly presents its residents’products to government agencies, organizations and large enterprises in the Republic of Belarus, the solutions being in demand in different sectors.
