Results of Google Basics for Teaching in Belarus

140 Belarusian school teachers completed an online training course Google Basics for Teaching launched by the Hi-Tech Park together with Google on November 20, 2014.

Gulnara Lastovetsky, Europe/Russia Educational Programs Coordinator at Google, considered the result great. In the Ukraine, for example, 108 teachers received certificates, and 1146 certificates were handed to teachers in Russia.

The certificates were presented to Belarusian teachers during a roundtable meeting on the issues of educational process organization held in the IT academy Steps in Lida. Teachers from Minsk schools received their certificates in Minsk Region Institute for Education Development.

Altogether, 789 teachers registered to study the course. During the course, Google’s experts shared their skills and Belarusian teachers exchanged experiences with their colleagues around the world.
