HTP to Host Educational Program on Preparing Innovative Projects for Venture Capital Investment

On May 13-15, the Hi-Tech Park will host a free workshop session organized by the Moscow Technological Institute (MTI) with the support of the HTP Administration and the Russian Venture Company (RVC).

The program is designed for entrepreneurs who implement technology projects. It focuses on the preparation of projects for venture capital investment. We also invite specialists from universities, research institutes and innovative companies interested in effective implementation of startup projects.

During the session, the following issues will be addressed:
basic venture capital investment concepts;
assessment criteria for technology projects prospects;
techniques of successful negotiations with investors;
typical mistakes when preparing documents;
adequate protection of intellectual property rights.

During the session, participants are to prepare their own projects for investment and present them. The MTI will provide certificates for successful completion of the program. The best projects will get an opportunity to take part in a pre-accelerator program GenerationS 2015. Projects participating in GenerationS-2015 will get a chance to compete in the DARPA Robotics Challenge in California in 2016.

Workshop sessions bring together developers, innovative entrepreneurs and investors to help startups get the necessary information for their projects development and commercialization and allow investors to select the most promising businesses. Sessions include individual consultations enabling participants and experts to discuss advantages and disadvantages of individual projects.
