On 28 November 2023, the Representative Office of the German Economy in the Republic of Belarus in partnership with Hi-Tech Park Belarus hosted a business meeting focusing on "Current Trends in the Development and Application of Artificial Intelligence".

Michael Nowak, Chargé d'affaires a.i. of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Belarus, opened the event.

Kirill Zalessky, Deputy Director of Hi-Tech Park Belarus, presented an overview of the AI technologies development in Belarus, demonstrated their application by Hi-Tech Park residents in their own IT products.  

The resident companies using AI technologies in healthcare, environmental protection and processing texts in natural languages were actively involved in the program. 

Legal aspects of the AI application and latest global approaches to its regulatory environment were also considered as an agenda item.
