Belarus in world top 5 by the share of STEM graduates

According to the data compiled by the Statistical Institute of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), Belarus ranked 5th in the world in terms of the proportion of higher educational establishments graduates in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

Malaysia and Tunisia are ranked 1st and 2nd. The share of STEM graduates in these countries is 43.5% and 40% accordingly. The top five countries with the highest proportion of graduates in these fields also include the United Arab Emirates, Germany and Belarus. According to the data, of the German statistical office Statista, 34.6% Belarusian higher educational institutions of graduates acquire a profession in science or engineering.
