Representatives of the Secretariat of the Supervisory Board of Hi-Tech Park and the resident companies took part in the business meeting “Key technological trends in the context of business transformation” organized by the Representative Office of the German Economy in the Republic of Belarus.

The purpose of the event was to review the main trends in the development of the IT sphere in Belarus, as well as global trends of digital transformation, including its positive impact on the efficiency of business processes and some associated risks.

The guest list included representatives of the diplomatic corps of Germany, the United Kingdom and Italy, telecommunications and law companies, manufacturing and banking sectors.

During the discussion the conditions for digital development created in Belarus were emphasized. With the existing strong IT competencies and ICT infrastructure, such conditions are aimed at interaction between the state and the business community. According to Kirill Zalessky, Deputy Director of Hi-Tech Park, pilot projects and digital projects showcase became new mechanisms for more active involvement of the technological potential of the Belarusian IT sphere in the processes of digital transformation of the real sector of the economy.

A separate session was devoted to the experience of implementing innovative services and IT products at small and medium-sized enterprises. The resident companies Factory of Innovations and Solutions, North IT Group, BIM Machine presented their competencies and solutions, as well as the most striking practical cases of digital transformation. HTP residents spoke about the digital competencies currently in demand, shared the peculiarities of IT products implementation in various industries and vision of further digitalization steps.
