8 April 2026

A meeting took place at Hi-Tech Park premises between Dmitry Kalechits, First Deputy Director of the HTP Supervisory Board Secretariat, and Rustam Khaidarov, Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in the Republic of Belarus.

During the meeting, the parties discussed mechanisms for integrating HTP’s innovative approaches into UNICEF’s activities, as well as the use of cutting-edge IT-solutions and the Park’s regulatory expertise to support the implementation of the Fund’s programs in Belarus. Particular interest was shown in adapting modern technological approaches to enhance the effectiveness of the Fund’s social programs.

"Innovation at Hi-Tech Park is not only about economic growth but also a tool for addressing social challenges. We are ready to offer UNICEF our expertise in digital infrastructure and regulatory frameworks. This is an example of how high technology serves human capital," Dmitry Kalechits stated following the meeting.

The interlocutors mutually noted that Belarus is rightfully considered one of the most advanced digital jurisdictions. The country’s innovative regulatory framework creates unique conditions for developing modern mechanisms with high social significance. The regulatory environment and Hi-Tech Park ’s expertise provide favorable conditions for UNICEF’s efforts to expand its digital development direction and implement initiatives in Belarus.
