Hi-Tech Park residents among the world's top mobile app and game developers

Hi-Tech Park resident companies involved in the development of mobile applications and games showed excellent results in 2021. This is evidenced by findings of the annual report on mobile market business environment State of Mobile 2021, prepared by the American analytical agency App Annie.

For example, the Flo app for female health, which raised $50 million in investment in 2021 and increased its value to $800 million, ranked 5th in global downloads and 6th in user spendings.

The young company FreePlay is a continuing success story in the field of game development for mobile devices. The company has recently passed the 500 million global downloads mark with its hypercasual projects Join Clash 3D and Count Masters. At the end of 2021, the former was one of the top 10 games by downloads in the world, and Count Masters (the latter) was one of the top 10 games by downloads in the U.S. and the U.K.

Belarusian SayGames was on the 4th position in the world among the companies with the largest number of installations. Playtika and Playrix with R&D centers in Minsk made it to the top ten game studios with the fastest growing games by user spendings. 

The research data was obtained from a comprehensive analysis of 17 different market segments in 30 countries. The report reflects the main trends in the mobile application market, user preferences over the past year, as well as the most likely scenario of industry development in 2022.
