Into the new year with new taxation - changes for crypto residents
The management and specialists of Hi-Tech Park met with the representatives of resident companies that have the right to carry out activities in the field of tokens.
Opening the event, Ivan Zhiznevsky, Deputy director of Hi-Tech Park, introduced the innovations in the tax legislation of the Republic of Belarus with regard to the income received on transactions with digital signs (tokens): “I would like to note that a new milestone in the activities of crypto residents has begun. Balanced taxation is being introduced, and a transparent regulatory environment for crypto-business is being created. This has become possible thanks to our joint efforts on developing completely new, but mutually acceptable approaches. The state has heard the proposals of business.”
The Deputy director thanked the residents for their proactive participation in building up the system of work with digital signs (tokens) in the country, and also outlined in detail the new tax regimes and mechanics of transactions with tokens for individuals, legal entities and individual entrepreneurs.
Other aspects of the work of crypto-residents have been discussed, including certain issues that require attention from the regulatory authorities in order to bring the actions of participants in transactions with tokens into the legal framework.
