Lao parliamentary delegation headed by Duangsavan Linkham, Chairman of the Committee on Economy, Technology and Environment of the National Assembly of the Lao People's Democratic Republic, visited Hi-Tech Park. Natalia Golub, member of the Standing Committee on Budget and Finance of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, also took part in the meeting. 

During the visit, the guests got acquainted with the history and achievements of "Silicon Valley Eastern Europe", the tax regime of the Hi-Tech Park, its residents and their advanced solutions. Kirill Zalessky, Deputy Director of Hi-Tech Park, underlined competitiveness and high quality of products and services of Belarusian IT companies. "The IT solutions of our residents are in demand not only in Belarus, but anywhere in the world. Today the Park's products fully meet the market needs and set long-term global trends," - said Kirill Zalessky.

The parties exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the field of IT. Among other things, the guest's interest was attracted by the Belarusian approach to cryptocurrency regulation. At the end of the visit Duangsavan Linkham underlined the aspiration of Laos to create a similar model and stated that the success of Hi-Tech Park would be an excellent example for the delegation.
