New standards in air quality monitoring: HTP resident presents important data on Antarctica

23 October 2024

After four months of operation in Antarctica at the station «Vechernaya Mountain» the gas analyzer «AirNod» provided valuable data on the air quality of one of the most remote and ecologically clean regions of the world.

The results of air monitoring in Antarctica obtained with the help of the hardware-software complex of R-NOX LLC, a resident of Hi-Tech Park, were presented for the first time at the specialized international conferences of the Council of Managers of National Antarctic Programs (COMNAP) in Argentina and the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research (SCAR) in Chile, causing great interest among the scientific community.

Such studies in East Antarctica have not carried out earlier. The data collected with the AirNod PAC open new opportunities for understanding the general trends of air pollution on the planet. The innovative equipment of R-NOX LLC has successfully demonstrated its ability to be used in the most remote and difficult places for research and will continue its work in Antarctica.
