Prime Minister of Georgia Visited HTP

On March 23, Prime Minister of Georgia Giorgi Kvirikashvili visited the Hi-Tech Park to meet with HTP Director Valery Tsepkalo and learn about Belarus' experience in developing the IT industry, training IT professionals and supporting innovative entrepreneurs.

Valery Tsepkalo revealed the history and development plans of HTP, achievements and capabilities of its resident-companies. The guests also explored the potential of Belarus HTP in supporting the startup community, while walking around the HTP business incubator.

The official delegation includes members of the Government of Georgia, businessmen and Chairman of Georgia's Innovation and Technology Agency Irakli Kashibadze. The Agency and HTP signed a Cooperation Agreement in 2014 intended to exchange information and share experience in the field of information technology, promote developing of IT education practices as well as activities of training centers and business incubators. Georgia expressed interest in continuing the cooperation in the field of IT.
