Time to SCRATCH! About 300 Projects Submitted

Over 300 school students submitted their projects for the national competition Programming in Scratch.

The competition for students aged 8-14 is held in three categories: World of Animation, Quest Game, and Educational Project in Scratch. The finals, including open presentation of projects, will be conducted in Orsha, Vitebsk Region on April 23, 2016.

The Hi-Tech Park wishes the participants good luck!

The competition is initiated to encourage school students' interest in studying information technologies, teach them to think creatively and systematically and inspire to get ICT professions.

The competition is organized by the Hi-Tech Park, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, the Department of Education, Sport and Tourism of the Orsha District Executive Committee.

Scratch is a visual programming language used to teach school children to code computer programs. Scratch is currently free and available to everyone.
