Syberry Opened Coworking in Belarusian National Technical University

On December 22, the first in Minsk library coworking KB-16 was opened in the Scientific Library of the BNTU (Belarus National Technical University) with the support of the HTP resident-company Syberry CIS. 'K' in KB-16 stands for Kolasa Street where the Scientific Library of the BNTU is located, and 'B' is for 'biblioteka', a Russian derivative from Greek meaning 'library'.

The coworking space is designed for 150 people and divided into three conventional areas: a lecture area intended for meetings, seminars and workshops; rooms for individual work and rooms for teamwork. There is everything necessary: comfortable chairs, tables, free Wi-Fi. Students' projects and initiatives are to be implemented there. Not only students but also Scientific Library of the BNTU card holders can work in the coworking for free.

Syberry CIS provided financial support to organize and equip the coworking space. According to company's representatives, Syberry is also planning to open a BNTU-based laboratory to train IT students.
