Korea-Belarus Technology Day in HTP

On June 8, the HTP business incubator hosted Korea-Belarus B2B Technology Day. The event aimed at developing bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Korea in the fields of science and technology.

Ambassador of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Belarus H.E. Kim Yong Ho, Director of Korea-Russia Science & Technology Cooperation Center Dr. Kim Tae Hee, and HTP Deputy Director Alexander Martinkevich welcomed the participants at the opening ceremony.

The participants included Korean SMEs engaged in activities in the fields of ICT, new materials, security and other related areas. The event was attended by representatives of the National Research Foundation of Korea and the Korea Techno-Venture Foundation (KAIST). Belarus was represented by HTP resident-companies, SMEs, researchers, and software developers.

DuringKorea-Belarus Technology Day, Korean companies and HTP resident-companies exchanged experience in developing innovative products and solutions, demonstrated their projects and discussed possibilities of cooperation.

Korea-Belarus Technology Day was organized by:

· Korea-Russia Science & Technology Cooperation Center (National Research Foundation of Korea);

· Belarus-Korea Information Access Center (HTP);

· Belarus-Korea Center for Cooperation in Education, Science, and Technology (BNTU).

Korea-Belarus Technology Day was supported by the Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning of the Republic of Korea, and the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus.
