The new Decree 10, signed by the President of the Republic on December 30th, 2010, introduces amendments to Decree 12, “On the High Technologies Park” of September 22, 2005, providing  the following new options for HTP resident companies:

The Minsk City Executive Committee is to coordinate the site development of the Hi-Tech Park (HTP). The HTP residents and administration preserve the right to coordinate the construction of production and social buildings as agreed by the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The Decree also lays down provisions for legal entities to preserve the status of HTP residents, when they undergo reorganization.

The HTP residents are authorized to rent their idle premises within HTP and provide their employees with home loans.

The implementation of the Decree’s provisions will facilitate the prompt construction of HTP facilities and increase its efficiency.

The Decree comes into force three months after its official publication. It will be submitted for consideration of the National Assembly of Belarus.
