HTP Launched the First Joint Scientific & Educational Computer Lab in Brest

A.S. Pushkin State University of Brest together with EPAM Systems welcomed the Brest students in the first Joint Scientific & Educational Computer Lab on March 31, 2011.

The opening ceremony was attended by Mechislav Chesnovsky, the head of A.S. Pushkin State University of Brest, Alexander Martinkevich, the deputy director of Hi-Tech Park Administration and Mr. Pavel Shagoiko, the deputy director general of EPAM Systems.

Professional training of young specialists on .NET and Java technologies will be organized on the basis of the new laboratory. 

Sergey Tuzik, the head of EPAM Brest regional office, said: "Educational courses, which will be held in the laboratory, are developed by skilled instructors who have received a special training in our company. Two types of training were designed: routine classes following the educational programs and optional advanced classes. The training is free of charge. Following the final tests the students will obtain the certificates. The most skilled students will be offered jobs in the company".
