Belarusian Pupils Won Gold in Mathematics, Physics and Information Science

Belarusian pupils won three gold medals at the XVIIIth International Conference of young scientists, which took place in Moscow.

At the physics contest Belarus was presented by Yulia Korenovskaya, BSU Lyseum pupil, whoo won gold. At the information science contest gold was won by Dmitry Kabak, Polytech Gymnasium No.6. Gold in mathematics went to Vyacheslav Murashko, Gomel Gymnasium No. 71.

The XVIIIth International Conference of young scientists welcomed pupils from 16 countries: Belarus, Brazil, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Indonesia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Holland, Poland, Russia, Thailand, Romania, Turkey, and Ukraine.

At the conference young scientists present their projects and research results. The presentation is done in English. The conference was initiated by BSU and Budapest Eötvös Loránd University. In 2010 it took place in Indonesia and in 2012 young scientists will be welcomed in Holland.
