Feeling Digital introduces its VR project at The Cannes Film Festival
VR project Under The Pillow developed by the Hi-Tech Park resident Feeling Digital and the Russian director and script writer Georgy Molodtsov will be presented at the Cannes Film Festival. The first one of the two episodes of Kitten Mormitten will compete for the VeeR Future Award within the Cannes XR program of the Marché du Film international film market.
Under The Pillow is an interactive VR project about a brother and a sister who create a handmade cat named Mormitten. Together with the heroes the user is plunged in the amazing mysterious world "Under the sofa" in search of adventure.
“Cannes XR is one of the most prestigious showcases of VR art projects. Belarusians will take part in this world event for the first time. We are happy to have Under The Pillow included in the Cannes Film Festival list. Imagination and creativity help us to connect generations in this project,” said Mitriy Sorkin, project co-producer and creative director of Feeling Digital.
The episode will be shown in Cannes from 6 to 17 July. The program will also be available online at the Museum of Other Realities platform.
Feeling Digital joined Hi-Tech Park in 2019. The company develops products using VR / AR and real-time 3D graphics. Among these there are digital worlds for training, education and process management, 360-degree films based on real-time graphics, prototypes, storyboards and pre-visualizations in VR for media projects, as well as immersive products for advertising and marketing.
