HTP and NASSCOM Sign Cooperation Agreement

Hi-Tech Park Administration and the National Association of Software and Services Companies of India (NASSCOM) signed a cooperation agreement.

The signing ceremony took place on November 12th in Delhi as a part of Belarusian governmental delegation visit to India. The delegation was headed by Prime Minister Mikhail Miasnikovich. The agreement was signed by HTP Administration Director Valery Tsepkalo on behalf of Belarus and by NASSCOM India Vice-President Ameet Nivsarkar on behalf of India.

Representatives of HTP resident-companies and Indian IT business circles met before to present their potential and discuss opportunities for mutually beneficial cooperation.

As a result of the meeting, it was agreed to organize cooperation of the Park and Quality Assessment Institute in the sphere of Belarusian IT companies software development improvement and its compliance with the International standards CMMI and PCMM, as well as in the sphere of IT specialists professional certification in business analysis, project management, providing quality and software testing.

The National Association of Software and Services Companies of India (NASSCOM) is the largest Indian organization that represents Indian IT and outsourcing business-projects sector. Established in 1988, it unites more than 1200 members, 250 of which are international corporations, based in the USA, Britain, European Union and Japan. Among its functions there are the following: to assist in the process of national software development and IT services providing, to encourage research in software development, to support respective national brands and the industry of offshore programming.
