Game Stream Becomes Best Belarusian Exporter 2012

The Hi-Tech Park resident-company Game Stream has become a winner of the National Contest Best Exporter of the Year 2012 in the nomination Development of Information Technologies. The organization received the Certificate at the Awards Ceremony that took place at the business center Victoria on May 22, 2013

In 2012 the export growth rate of Game Stream exceeded 400 % and the total revenue increased twelvefold. The game World of Tanks created by the company is one of the most successful online projects on the MMO games market and enjoys the attention of more than 50 million fans worldwide. Last year the game was recognized as the best MMO project at the prestigious contest Golden Joystick Awards in London.

“I’m glad that eventually this prestigious Belarusian award will become a part of our bright collection of trophies won various at international contest and exhibitions”.

This year 102 organizations took part in the contest and competed in 17 nominations.

The following persons took part in the Awards Ceremony: the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Belarus V. Brylev, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus V. Makei, heads of the national governance bodies, regional executive and regulatory bodies, diplomats, etc.

The contest Best Exporter of the Year is aimed at fostering the export-oriented production development, enhancing the prestige of the Belarusian producers in the world, increasing the quality of exported products and services and therefore their competitiveness on the global market.
