Recent Belarusian projects in the sphere of automation of manufacturing, budgeting and finance for industrial enterprises were presented by the Hi-Tech Park resident-companies on August 5, 2013 during a roundtable discussion with representatives from BELAZ, the worlds largest manufacturer of mining dump trucks.

The event was aimed at introduction of domestic information and communication technologies and software into the countrys industrial enterprises within the framework of implementing the import substitution program.

"There are some difficulties in integrating and maintaining multiple software platforms that exist today. We would like to switch to maximum one or two platforms so that a few engineers could maintain them. Today we would like to discuss and create a clear concept of interaction with the HTP resident-companies,"- said Alexander Botvinnik, BELAZ Assistant General Director for Information Systems.

Among the roundtable participants were heads of departments engaged in production planning and control, budgeting and financial accounting from BELAZ and representatives of the HTP resident-companies Top Soft, SoftClub, PrognozBel, Novacom and EPAM Systems.

The discussion focused on two areas: software for manufacturing and program solutions in the sphere of ​​budgeting and finance.

EPAM Systems presented their projects on the basis of a service-oriented integration platform SAP, ERP-system that provides a common data and processes model for all spheres of activity. Novacom Group introduced solutions based on the integration ofCAD-systems and SAP BPC possibilities to automate the budgeting process. SoftClub presented its alternative designs based on BI-systems.

HTP resident-companies Top Soft and PrognozBel talked about their experience in implementation of software products “Galaxy” and “Prognoz Platform”.

The company was founded in 1948, in 1958 it was named “Belarusian Automobile Plant”. In September 2012 BELAZ-Holding was created.
