World of Tanks Wins Japan

4 October 2013

World of Tanks, the biggest MMO project, developed by the Hi-Tech Park resident-company Game Stream, was presented during one of the worlds largest exhibitions in the field of computer games TOKYO GAME SHOW, traditionally held in Japan at the end of September.

This year it was an unprecedentedly huge event. Over 350 companies participated, and 270,000 people attended the exhibition.

The project World of Tanks, with its popularity in Japan soaring, was first presented at the exhibition.

"The successful promotion of the computer game developed in Belarus all over the world proves once again the high level of Belarusian developers, the true potential of Belarusian enterprises that are able to achieve the greatest quality of products; a real opportunity not only to reach the level of the worlds best analogues , but also to go well ahead of them, become a recognized standard , the model for all other foreign companies. In the beginning we could not even dream that our games will have a lot of fans in Japan, but now it is a reality and a fact: compared to the eminent SquareEnix, Sega, Sony and Capcom, the Belarusian game is not just noticeable, it has a prominent place and is of great interest for our competitors, provokes their desire to imitate and copy..." said Victor Novochadov, Game Stream Director.
