Seven HTP Resident-Companies Named to Software 500 List

Seven HTP resident-companies strengthened their positions in the Software 500 ranking published by Software Magazine, one of the worlds most influential software and Information techology journals.

According to the Software 500:

EPAM Systems was ranked 140th in the list of the largest software and services companies (160th last year);

PROGNOZ was ranked 254th (No. 292 in the 2012 list);

IBA Group was ranked 286th (No. 288 last year);

Ericpol Telecom was ranked 299th (312th in the 2012 list);

Sam Solutions was ranked 393rd (No. 406 in the 2012 list);

Intetics was ranked 440th (No. 473 last year);

Softclub was ranked 441st (460th last year).

"According to findings of the 2013 Software, the software and services industry shows steady growth worldwide. The total number of employees in the Software 500 was up 9.5% to 4,924,121, compared to 4,495,407 in last year’s survey. At the same time, overall revenue for Software 500 companies this year reached $672.9 billion, up 4%," noted John P. Desmond, editor, Software Magazine.

Software 500 is the ranking of the world’s largest software and services companies published annually by Software Magazine since 1982. In its 31st year, the ranking is based on companies revenue in 2012 including software license and service revenue, as well as revenue from training and consulting. Only software-related revenue is taken into account, though a lot of companies operate in other business sectors and may have larger total revenue.
