Game Stream Became the Winner of The Best Exporter of 2013 Contest

HTP resident-company Game Stream was announced the Belarusian Best Exporter of 2013 in IT Development.

This time, winners were named in 18 categories. The list of finalists included over 100 Belarusian companies. The companies were judged not only on the volume of exports but also on the export rate per employee, the amount of import component in the products, and the number of countries in the export network.

The awarding ceremony was held on June 4, 2014. The event was attended by Nikolai Samoseiko, Chairman of the Standing Committee for International Affairs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus; Alexander Zaborovsky, First Deputy Head of the Council of Ministers Office, Head of the Belarus Prime Minister Secretariat; Alexander Guryanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus; national and local authorities, as well as representatives of diplomatic corps and cultural and sport’s elite.

The winners of the contest exported nearly $3.8 billion worth of goods and services in 2013. “Export sales are number 1 priority for the country today. Of course, it is important to produce and develop new products in the country, but the most important thing is to sell everything we produce – goods and services – for export,” noted Alexander Guryanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

Game Stream was also among The Best Exporter of 2011 and 2012 winners.

The Best Exporter of the Year is a national contest which is held annually by the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Hi-Tech Park Administration, and a number of other public authorities and business organizations.

The contest is aimed at identifying and rewarding the goods and services producing enterprises and entrepreneurs that achieved the highest export rates in their industries, as well at fostering the development of export-oriented production and enhancing the prestige of Belarusian producers in the world market.
