Teachers From 6 Universities Were Trained at the India-Belarus Digital Learning Center in ICT in October

In October, free training sessions were conducted for university teachers at the India-Belarus Digital Learning Center in ICT, as a part of the cooperation program between the Hi-Tech Park and higher education institutions. The issues of Modern Web Technologies and Platforms and Working with Big Datawere discussed during the sessions, with 30 teachers from 6 Belarusian universities participating.

Alexey Shorkin, Director of the HTP resident-company NewItOutsource, conducted a seminar about Modern Web Technologies and Platforms, addressing the principles of the Internet (hosting, domains, virtualization, etc.), reviewing the most popular web frameworks and CMS platforms, discussing the stages of the web development process and their peculiarities, among some other activities.

According to Alexander Novopoltsev, Assistant at the Department of Mathematical Modeling and Data Analysis of the Belarusian State University, the demonstration of software was particularly useful.

Pavel Chernyavsky, System Architect at the HTP resident-company IG Dev, spoke about the popular today big data technology. The participants of the seminar received detailed information on what Big Data is, how to handle a large amount of information offline/online and what methods of processing large volumes of data exist.
