e-Government Delivery Discussed in HTP

Issues and technologies of e-government implementation were discussed during a workshop for students of the Faculty of Advanced Training of the Institute of Civil Service (the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus). The workshop was conducted in the HTP business incubator on September 16.

Heads of economic departments of regional, district and city executive committees and local government officials participated in the workshop.

Sergey Rudnev, Deputy Director of the National Center for Electronic Services, spoke about best practices of e-government implementation, exchange of information communication transactions between government agencies, document management systems and features of the National Automated Information System.

Valery Maroz, Head of the Software Development Department at the HTP company ERICPOL BREST, shared international and Belarusian experience in e-government design and implementation, its prospects and challenges.

The participants of the workshop also discussed advantages and controversies of e-government.

The workshop was organized by the HTP Administration and the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus to increase the number of Belarusian IT projects implemented for the domestic market.
