AirCloud

AirCloud (LLC "AirCloud") is a Belarusian product company and developer of an ecosystem of server virtualization and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions. Founded in 2019, the company spent five years building its solution stack from scratch, positioning itself as a direct competitor to offerings from Citrix (USA) and VMware (USA).
The AirCloud virtualization platform includes over 15 services, delivering fault tolerance up to 2N (Tier 3) and supporting geo-distributed deployments. The platform’s high level of security is ensured through disk and RAM encryption, encryption of all internal and external communications, internal network shielding against DDoS attacks, two-factor authentication (2FA), RADIUS support, a role-based access control system with fine-grained privilege settings, and built-in auditing and security policy enforcement within the virtual infrastructure.
Key features of the solution include:
* Deployment of a fault-tolerant (up to 2N, Tier 3) server virtualization cluster;
* Deployment of a virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) with a proprietary remote access protocol, support for vGPU passthrough, generic USB device redirection, and audio/video input-output including webcam redirection;
* Deployment of virtual network infrastructure with support for VLAN, NAT, Virtual IP, QoS (including hierarchical), DHCP (including relay), bonding, and teaming;
* Deployment of distributed, fault-tolerant external access gateways with support for 2FA (including RADIUS) and network access restrictions based on user or administrator privilege levels;
* Integration with external storage systems and automatic deployment of the AirCloud distributed file system (for block storage) via FC (including multipath), iSCSI, NFS v3/v4, and custom shared storage protocols.
