Digital transformation of Minskenergo: an effective IT solution from HTP resident
Digitalizing of processes is crucial for the development of modern business, especially in such large-scale and strategically important industries as energy. For several years already Minskenergo has been actively implementing a digital strategy aimed at automation of routine processes, increasing the efficiency of work and minimizing the human factor.
Cooperation with “E-Economy”, a Hi-Tech Park resident, has become an important step in this process. This partnership demonstrates how unique IT solutions of HTP residents are implemented at the Belarusian enterprises and organizations, ensuring more efficient management of complex processes. In 2023, the sales of IT products and services by all Park residents in the Belarusian market amounted to 1.5 billion Belarusian rubles.
Implementation of the procurement system: a comprehensive solution
One of the key tasks assigned to Electronic Economy in the context of digitalizing Minskenergo, was the automation of procurement processes. The main goal of the project was its integration with other information systems of the enterprise, including accounting and warehouse management. To realize this task the company created a unique system 1C:UZD, based on 1C platform with the use of ERP module.
The co-founder and CTO of “E-Economy” Alexey Voylenko comments: “In the terms of reference, the customer identified the need to implement a unified procurement system for the enterprise. We have developed a completely unique subsystem for Minskenergo in terms of procurement activities, based on the 1C platform document management and ERP modules. The provided solution ensures high performance and connectivity of all processes”.
Key project outcome indicators:
1000 documents per day on average involved in the exchange;
2000 types of catalogue;
28,000 catalogue items;
2500 users;
30 bases for which real-time integration is realized.
Transparency and user-friendliness
The new system allows to unite all the processes of the enterprise in a single information loop, providing real-time data collection. Hundreds of documents pass through the system every day and each of them is under careful control. Users note the ease of use, and the system already supports up to 500 simultaneous connections.
To ensure continuous operation of the digital ecosystem from the HTP resident, the organization of communication channels is entrusted to the national operator Beltelecom, which helps monitor facilities and implement new intelligent systems.
The reliability and convenience of the system has already been highly appreciated by the management and specialists of Minskenergo. The project was also awarded the 2nd degree winner diploma of the Republican contest “Leaders of Digital Economy - 2023”.
