Partnership through technologies: the Philippine delegation visits Hi-Tech Park
The Philippine delegation led by Igor Garlit Bailen, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of the Philippines to the Republic of Belarus with residence in Moscow, visited Hi-Tech Park.
The guests got acquainted with the legal conditions of the IT sphere in Belarus, examples of unique solutions of Hi-Tech Park residents, the role and contribution of the Park to the country's economy.
Kirill Zalessky, Deputy Directorof Hi-Tech Park, noted in his speech: “Hi-Tech Park is a point of attraction for foreign delegations visiting the Republic of Belarus”.
The Philippine side called the innovative legal regime for the IT sphere in Belarus an important discovery, emphasising the interest in the success story of world-famous Belarusian developments with the technological residence of the Park, among which is Viber.
- Viber is one of the most popular platforms in the Philippines, and it is impressive that Belarusian IT products are so actively used in the everyday life of our country.
An important aspect of the meeting was the development of co-operation in the field of medtech. ‘Innovative solutions of Hi-Tech Park residents in the field of telemedicine are known in the Philippines. Besides, our qualified doctors need predictive technologies to help them,’ said Ambassador Igor Garlit Bylen.
The guests were also provided with detailed information on a number of Belarusian medtech products. Among them are the ‘smart operating room’ Sirius (Platform Medikt LLC), which integrates the entire operating theatre into a single information space, the RIAmed project (Digital Resuscitation LLC), which implements algorithms and technologies for collecting and processing big data in real time from medical equipment for risk management in medical decision-making, as well as the software complex for processing, three-dimensional reconstruction, transmission and storage of medical diagnostic images 3D MeD (Cometa Rad LLC).
In the course of the discussion the parties confirmed their readiness to expand and strengthen interaction in the field of telemedicine and other areas of mutual interest, as well as to participate in specialized events for further development of contacts.
