Over 200 Research Projects Will Compete for Becoming BelSEF 2016 Finalists

Over 200 individual and team projects were submitted to participate in Belarus Science and Engineering Fair 2016. Schoolchildren from all regions of the country presented results of their research works.

Environmental Sciences became the most popular category, with 91 projects being registered. Over 50 projects were registered in the Computer Science category; more than 20 projects in Physics were received.

Other categories are Engineering: Electrical and Mechanical, Robotics and Intelligent Machines and Mathematical Sciences.

Belarus Science and Engineering Fair 2016 is organized to promote scientific research activities among high school students and develop their creativity and interest in the study of mathematics, physics and computer science, among others.

Winners of the national contest represent Belarus in Intel ISEF in May 8-13, 2016 in Phoenix, USA.

The contest is organized by the Hi-Tech Park together with the Minsk Region Institute for Education Development, Education Department of the Minsk Region Executive Committee and Intel.
