700 Electronics and Robotics Fans Participated in Party Hard! 2016 Conference

8 February 2016

Has hardware become extinct, with all professionals being engaged in software development? In Belarus, many talented people are still willing to challenge electronics engineers of the world!

On February 6, the HTP business incubator hosted the international conference for hardware, systems and design engineers – PartyHard! 2016. The conference was attended by about 700 people, thus becoming one of the largest events of its kind in Belarus as well as the most popular one in the history of the HTP business incubator!

Party Hard! featured over 20 reports on various aspects of electronics and robotics, Internet of Things, big data and different aspects of hardware business. Among the speakers, there were representatives of scientific research institutes and companies such as Promwad, BelHard, EPAM Systems, BDC-R & D, Belgazprombank, etc.

Participants of PartyHard! 2016 could also see an exhibition of devices developed in Belarus. Both beginners and professionals presented dozens of robots, telepresence systems, a camera octocopter, high-tech prostheses, a smart radiation monitor and a smart house prototype, etc.

Yury Sudarev, head of the HTP business incubator: "The conference has demonstrated the prospects of hardware development in Belarus. The fact that PartyHard! was attended by more than 700 people proves that this field is really interesting to many people. A lot of curious devices were shown at the exhibition. There are many talented people in our country, and we are doing our best to support their activities. Thus, BIT Animation, a company developing robotics, among others, is working in the HTP business incubator. We are also planning to conduct an international robotics festival."

PartyHard! 2016 was organized by the Hi-Tech Park together with the IT portal KV.by and R-NOX, a developer of devices for environmental control.
