HTP Export in January-May 2009 Increased by 5%

HTP export in January-May 2009 increased by 5% compared to the same period in 2008, whereby HTP import decreased more than twofold.

Despite the negative impact of the world financial crisis the Hi-Tech Park preserved the positive trend of software production growth.

HTP residents companies manage to retain their positions on the hi-tech markets of North America and Western Europe. Customers of HTP resident companies are situated in 41 countries of the world. In 2009 first contracts were concluded with customers in Belgium, Spain and Japan.

41% of HTP residents software exports account for the North America market, 33% for Western European countries, 19% for CIS countries. The main software importing countries are the USA, Russia, Germany and UK.
