Samsung R&D Institute Russia is Interested to Cooperate With HTP

The representatives of Samsung R&D Institute Russia and the management of BelarusHi-Tech Park (HTP) Administration discussed possible areas of cooperation during their meeting in Minsk.

The director of the R&D InstituteSeoHyung Jin and the head of the optical information technologies department of the R&D Institute Victor Bucha held talks with the deputy director of the HTP Alexander Martinkevich, during which the guests were presented the potential of Belarusian IT industry, the peculiarities of the tax and legal regime of the HTP, the conditions of the registration of companies as residents of Belarus Hi-Tech Park, as well as the HTP’s achievements.

The representatives of the R&D Institute are interested in Belarusian experience in the development of the IT industry, particularly in the field of mobile application development and estimated positively general R&D and educational potential of the country.

The parties have identified promising areas of cooperation. Also there was discussed the possibility of holding a joint presentation of Samsung Electronics R&D Institute and HTP’s residents’ potential in the field of R&D in Minsk in the nearest future.

Samsung Electronics R&D Institute was established as a representative office of the company in Russia with the purpose of development of the science and technology connections with the local R&D institutes and coordination of joint development in the field of advanced electronic technologies.
