Belarusian Students Became Prize-Winners at International Olympiad IT Planet

Belarusian Students won prizes at the Finals of International IT Olympiad for students IT Planet that took place in Kiev on May 31-June 4, 2013.

Masters student from BSUIR Ilia Sibiriatkin took the first prize in the nomination “Linux Administration”. Students of Brest State Technical University Andrey Klimovich and Vadim Blinkovsky brought home the third prizes in the nominations “Oracle Programming Olympiad: Java” and “3D-modeling” correspondingly.

This year 118 students from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan who showed best results at preliminary National Olympiads competed at the Finals in the following spheres: “Software usage and administration”, “Programming”, “Digital arts” and “Telecom”.

International Olympiad IT Planet has been held since 2007 in Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. Its goal is to boost professional development of young people who study IT.
