Secured Tomorrow: HTP residents at a cybersecurity conference

The 4th A1 Tech Day: CyberReality practical conference is taking place in Minsk, bringing together leading experts in information technology and cybersecurity.

The event focused on key modern technological trends, including information security, approaches to building cloud infrastructures, AI development and associated cybersecurity risks. The conference was attended not only by the executives from relevant companies and specialists in applied fields, but also by the representatives of the public sector and the business community.

Anna Ryabova, the Director of Hi-Tech Park, delivered a welcoming speech at the opening of the event, noting the importance of sharing expertise for the successful development of digital economy. She shared the opinion that the history of digital technologies is the history of balancing benefits and risks. "Initially we focused more on the benefits. However, as digital spheres expand, the growing focus of our attention is on the risks. Analytical reviews show that cybersecurity is becoming a key issue today. This demonstrates that we realize how much trust we place on digital technologies and artificial intelligence," Anna Ryabova emphasized.

The event featured intensive networking sessions and expert presentations covering the topics critical for the cyberspace. Participants discussed common cybersecurity mistakes businesses make, analyzing darknet threats and attacks, and the impact of digital hygiene on corporate data security. Effective strategic security planning tools, the legal and confidential use of artificial intelligence, and real-world cases of AI implementation to improve the security and efficiency of business processes were also presented.

Representatives of Hi-Tech Park resident companies delivered keynote speaches and presented their innovative developments in the exhibition section. SCrypto showcased its software suite for network cryptographic information security. Its solutions implement information flow management and cryptographic protection of network traffic through the creation of VPN tunnels. A distinctive feature of SCrypto's products is that these are indigenous Belarusian developments, which demonstrates the high level of Belarusian IT.

TrueConf presented a suite of cutting-edge videoconferencing solutions, including TrueConf Server for corporate communications. Particular attention was paid to security – autonomous deployment within the corporate network ensures complete control over communications and a high level of protection while maintaining the full functionality of a modern videoconferencing service.

UserGate's exhibit showcased a comprehensive ecosystem of solutions designed to comprehensively protect digital infrastructure. The booth featured security monitoring tools, proactive incident detection and response, as well as auditing, consulting, and cloud monitoring solutions.

The event served as a platform for lively dialogue between businesses, government, and the expert community, fostering stronger partnerships and the development of innovative solutions in cybersecurity.
