Belarusian School Pupils won gold at the All-Russian Team Olympiad in Programming

The 12th All-Russian Team Olympiad in Programming for school pupils took place from the 19th till 20th of November, 2011 in St.Petersburg. Two teams from Gomel and Mozyr reached the final with the highest scores. They won gold medals and received diplomas.

Gold medals and diplomas of the 1st degree received both Gomel team (Dmitry Demidko, Gennady Korotkevich, Sergey Nichiporchik) and Mozyr team from the 1st Young Programmers Club (Adam Bardashevich, Alexander Dryapko, Sergey Kulik).

Four Belarusian teams were also awarded with diplomas of the 2nd and 3rd degrees:

The team from Belarusian State University Liceum #2 (Minsk) got a diploma of the 2nd degree: Vladislav Podtelkin, Andrey Rozhnovsky, Artem Kazak.

The diplomas of the 3rd degree were presented to:

-Minsk school # 41 (Alexey Subach, Andrey Zgirovsky, Alexander Astrovsky).

-Svetlogorsk Gimnasium #7 (Vadim Zaharenko, Dmitry Popov, Igor Stepkin).

-Grodno team (Ivye and Voronovo): Konstantin Vilchevsky, Anna Naiden, Oleg Shidlovsky).

7 diplomas of the 1st degree, 12 diplomas of the 2nd degree and 24 diplomas of the 3rd degree were awarded to the participants. First 12 winners were awarded with the Olympiad medals: 3 gold, 4 silver and 5 bronze ones.

194 teams took part in the final of the Olympiad. There were 3 school pupils in each of the team. To reach the final each team should pass the preselection at regional olympiads and Internet-competitions. The school pupils from the Russian Federation, Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Tadjikistan, Uzbekistan participated in the Olympiad.
